If you don't want to go down, a glass floor in the building offers a view below. The food was delicious, the service friendly, and you could dine undisturbed outdoors behind the building. ”

We didn't visit the well due to time constraints, but the small restaurant located next to the well's entrance, in an ancient tuff room, welcomed us with delicious lombrichelli with mushrooms and truffles and local sweets (tarrughe and tozzetti) with passito wine. “ Excellent lunch and very friendly service! After visiting the quarry pit, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant run by the same owners. The place isn't very large and there aren't many tables, so it's very quiet, although there's a lovely, quaint terrace where you can dine al fresco in the warmer months. Everything is beautifully tidy and clean, and you can feel that old-fashioned atmosphere that makes you feel at home, like the owner who walks between the tables and discreetly asks if everything is okay, smiling smugly when we reply, "Yes, of course!"—things that are almost forgotten these days. The young man who served us was very friendly and pleasant, and gave us excellent advice on the dishes offered. Since there were four of us, we sampled several courses, all excellent, well-prepared, and plentiful, not to mention the excellent "Fornace della Cava" red wine he recommended, delicious! The bruschetta appetizers, available in a variety of variations (from tomato to truffle) and the "unbrichelli arrabbiata" (fried uncooked bread) earned the highest score for me, but none of the other dishes were any different.
